The Centre for Shaiva Studies is dedicated to fostering rigorous multi-disciplinary research on the Śaiva traditions — spanning the vast textual corpus of Śaivism as well as its living expressions, from temple traditions and yoga to Śaiva art, dance, and devotional practice. By supporting the Centre, you help ensure that this vital heritage continues to be studied, documented, and shared with future generations.
Donors, individuals, and corporates can support our initiative in multiple ways:
- Endow an Academic Chair — establish a permanent position for a dedicated scholar, creating a lasting foundation for the field
- Support the critical edition and publication of Śaiva texts — fund the careful scholarly work of editing, translating, and publishing primary sources that have not been published before
- Support living tradition projects — fund the documentation and study of contemporary Śaiva practices, including temple traditions, devotional forms, art, and dance
- Support Fellowship programs — enable emerging researchers and young Śaiva scholars to pursue focused, sustained study of Śaiva texts and traditions
