The Centre is happy to announce its first lecture, among a series of lectures planned, on the auspicious day of Vijayadaśamī, 5^th October. The lecture will be conducted at the Centre premises in Pondicherry. Select Śaiva scholars from Pondicherry have been invited to the Centre on the day of Vijayadaśamī to deliver a short lecture on the contemporary forms of Tamil Śaivism.

T. Ganesan, the director of the Centre, will introduce the Centre to the assembled audience and deliver an informative lecture on the Śaiva Philosophy and its profundity. This is an initial outreach of the Centre to engage with the lay Śaiva community, and inform them about various aspects of their own tradition. Going forward, the Centre plans to hold multiple such lecture events, both offline and online, to engage with the broader Śaiva community worldwide.
